The MTN Ghana has constructed a 60-bed maternity ward and a neonatal center for Keta Municipal Hospital.
According to the leading telecoms network, this is part of their vision to create better future for all Ghanaians.
MTN Ghana affirms that, it remains a developing partner to the government through contribution to the fiscal and socio-economic development of the country.
In a statement, it said “Our commitment to socio-economic development continues to be a priority, and we look forward to playing our part in Ghana’s sustainable development.”
MTN Ghana is making a meaningful contribution to safe motherhood and wellbeing of mothers and babies in the country through targeted partnership and interventions.
The MTN Ghana Foundation was established in November 2007 as the vehicle to select and implement MTN’s Corporate Social Investments. MTN Ghana Foundation has three areas of focus – Health, Education and Economic Empowerment. From its inception to date, the Foundation has undertaken 166 major projects across the country. This includes 90 Education Projects, 55 Health Care Projects, 15 Economic Empowerment Project and 6 Community Support Initiatives.
