Cristina Swan-Awagah, Project Coordinator for the Ghana FinTech Awards has emphasised the critical role of Fintech innovation in Ghana’s economic growth and financial inclusion as nominations for the 2024 Awards officially opens.
Scheduled for March 1, the fourth edition of the awards, jointly organized by the Ghana Fintech and Payments Association, KPMG and Arkel Limited, will recognise top-performing Fintech companies and leaders who have driven transformative advancements within Ghana’s digital financial ecosystem.
Under the theme “Building Trust in Ghana’s Digital Economy: The Essential Role of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy,” the awards, supported by KPMG, will spotlight the importance of robust cybersecurity and data privacy.
Cristina Swan-Awagah noted that the awards will showcase Fintechs’ ability to seamlessly integrate across industries, boosting adoption of digital services and promoting secure financial transactions.
There are 28 categories of awards up for grabs. The nomination period is open from October 25 to November 25, 2024. Interested companies and individuals can find the various categories and also submit nominations at http://ghanafintechawards.org
