Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), a Nashville-based cardiology management services organisation, has appointed Dr Gary M. Kirsh as its Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
The appointment was announced in a press release issued on 14 July 2026.
Dr Kirsh has served on CVL’s Board of Directors since November 2025. He is the co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Solaris Health, a urology management services organisation that grew under his leadership to include 1,000 healthcare providers across more than 250 practice locations in 14 U.S. states. Solaris Health was acquired by Cardinal Health in November 2025 in a deal valued at approximately US$2.4 billion.
Beyond his executive leadership, Dr Kirsh brings more than 30 years of clinical experience as a practising urologist. He has also held leadership positions with the Large Urology Group Practice Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists and the Ohio Urologic Society. He has testified before state legislatures and the U.S. Congress on healthcare policy.
Commenting on his appointment, Dr Kirsh said CVL had established a unique model within the healthcare sector.

As part of the leadership transition, CVL founder David Konur will assume the role of Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.
Konur established CVL in partnership with Lee Equity Partners in 2023 after serving for 24 years as Chief Executive Officer of the Cardiovascular Institute of the South.
CVL currently supports approximately 440 cardiovascular providers across seven U.S. states, positioning the organisation as one of the growing platforms focused on strengthening independent cardiology practices through management and operational support.
