The African University of Communications and Business (AUCB) has urged its students to place their safety above all else as heavy rains and flooding continue to affect parts of Ghana.
In a communiqué issued by the university’s management, students were encouraged to remain vigilant and take the necessary precautions to protect themselves during the ongoing rainy season.

The university expressed concern for the wellbeing of its students and their families, stating that it hopes they are safe despite the adverse weather conditions.
Management also advised students to avoid flood-prone areas and exercise caution whenever travelling or undertaking outdoor activities, warning that conditions could remain hazardous while the rains persist.
The institution reaffirmed the importance of prioritising personal safety and urged members of the university community to continue observing all recommended safety measures until the situation improves.
The advisory comes as authorities continue to encourage the public to remain alert during periods of heavy rainfall, with flooding reported in several communities across the country.
