NkomorCare Technologies, a healthcare and financial technology startup operating out of Accra, recently did activations for the Nkomor app in the East Legon neighborhood.
The Mobile app activation saw engagements for app downloads, new user onboarding, and app demo for users in the area.
Some new users were excited about the ease of accessing health services made available on the app.
The company used the to occasion to invite young and agile Ghanaians to serve and street and campus ambassadors of Nkomor to drive adoption of the app.
“Nkomor is looking to work with street and campus ambassadors and entry-level marketing
officers for upcoming activities and activations. Successful candidates will join the Nkomor SalesForce to drive new user activations in their neighborhoods,” a statement from the company said.
The Nkomor app enables patients and users to request a doctor or in-person appointment at any of the 100+ healthcare providers on the platform, order a test kit, or request a Physician Callback Service to speak to a Nkomor Verified Physician via a direct phone call for just GHS50.
Nkomor also enables patients to cater to Out-of-Pocket (OOP) expenses through its in-app
payment solution, NkomorPay.
Nkomor app users can now access up to a 30% discount for in-person consultation for the first time, at CrossRoad Clinic, East Legon. Similar discounted services and offers are expected to be available at more partner facilities in the coming weeks as Nkomor continues to negotiate for better health deals for its app users.
