Telna, a global leader in managed eSIM connectivity, has announced a strategic partnership with Bridge Alliance, a coalition of major telcos spanning Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to enhance international roaming experiences, unlock new revenue streams, and empower telcos with cutting-edge eSIM technology.
The partnership allows Bridge Alliance members to leverage Telna’s advanced roaming eSIM platform to integrate seamless connectivity solutions.
It also allows participating telcos to offer digital-first, flexible eSIM services, ensuring their subscribers enjoy uninterrupted mobile connectivity without the hassle of physical SIM cards.
By embedding eSIM activation into web platforms, mobile apps, and super apps, Telna is transforming global roaming. This technology enables users to select and activate data plans instantly, reducing dependency on WiFi and ensuring continuous network access.
The partnership also introduces white-label customisation, allowing the telcos to brand their own eSIM shops and expand digital revenue opportunities.
A key focus of the partnership is addressing the issue of ‘silent roamers’—subscribers who avoid international mobile services due to high costs, opting for WiFi instead. Through eSIM’s flexible, cost-effective roaming plans, MNOs can now re-engage these users, driving higher revenue and boosting customer satisfaction.
Gregory Gundelfinger, CEO of Telna, emphasised the impact of eSIM technology: “eSIM eliminates the complexities of traditional SIM cards, offering instant connectivity at reduced costs. Our partnership with Bridge Alliance allows MNOs to stay competitive while providing travellers with a seamless, hassle-free mobile experience.”

The collaboration between Telna and Bridge Alliance aligns with evolving industry trends, ensuring MNOs remain at the forefront of mobile innovation. The integration of Telna’s API-driven eSIM technology streamlines connectivity processes, allowing network operators to scale efficiently and adapt to new consumer demands.
Ken Wee, Senior Vice President for Partnership and New Business at Bridge Alliance, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We welcome Telna to our Bridge Alliance Technology Partnership Programme. Their expertise in eSIM will help strengthen our ecosystem, enabling members to meet the growing demand for seamless global roaming solutions.”
As eSIM adoption continues to rise, Telna and Bridge Alliance’s joint efforts mark a significant step toward redefining international mobile connectivity, ensuring travellers and businesses stay connected effortlessly across the world.
