The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has held discussions with technology firm MOONDOOG Technologies over a proposed artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to improve citizens’ access to government services.
The meeting, held at the Ministry during a courtesy call by the company’s leadership, focused on the proposed Ghana AI Citizen Assistant, an innovative digital solution expected to simplify interactions between citizens and public institutions through the use of artificial intelligence.
Leading the delegation was the Chief Executive Officer of MOONDOOG Technologies, Isaac Ayitey Chris-Quaye, accompanied by the company’s operations manager, Desmond Ametefe of Neurahomes.

During the engagement, the delegation formally introduced the AI-driven concept to the minister, outlining its vision of leveraging emerging technologies to make government services more accessible, efficient and citizen-friendly.
The team also showcased an early-stage prototype of the proposed platform, demonstrating how the solution could assist citizens in accessing public services through intelligent digital interactions.
According to the developers, the Ghana AI Citizen Assistant is intended to bridge the gap between citizens and government institutions by providing quick and convenient access to information and services using artificial intelligence.

The meeting forms part of the ministry’s ongoing engagements with technology innovators and industry stakeholders as it seeks to accelerate Ghana’s digital transformation agenda and promote the adoption of emerging technologies in public service delivery.
The engagement also underscores growing collaboration between government and the private technology sector in exploring innovative digital solutions capable of improving governance, enhancing service delivery and expanding access to public services across the country.
