MTN Ghana has rewarded the first three winners of its MTN@30 Anniversary Promotion with brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados, as part of its commitment to share the joy of its 30th anniversary and brighten the lives of customers whose loyalty and trust have powered the company’s journey over the past three decades.
The awards ceremony held at Madina Zongo junction forms part of MTN Ghana’s 30th anniversary celebrations under the theme, “30 Years of Progress, Powered by You’’ and reflects MTN’s appreciation for the millions of customers whose trust, loyalty and support have contributed to the company’s growth.
The first winners of the promotion are Cephas Kwadwo Mensah Daben from the Oti Region, representing Zone 1; Moses Akowuah from the Western North Region, representing Zone 2; and Musah Aleeba Alenka from the Upper East Region, representing Zone 3.
Through the MTN@30 Promotion, MTN Ghana is rewarding up to 30,000 customers nationwide with a range of prizes, including Toyota Land Cruiser Prados and cash rewards of up to GH¢30,000. Nine Toyota Land Cruiser Prados have been earmarked for the promotion. With the presentation of the first three vehicles, six more customers are expected to drive away with brand-new Prados before the campaign ends in August.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Chief Customer Experience Officer at MTN Ghana, Jemima Kotei Walsh, said the company’s 30th anniversary was an opportunity to express gratitude to the millions of customers whose trust and loyalty have sustained the business over the years.
“For 30 years, Ghanaians have trusted MTN to connect them to the people, opportunities and moments that matter most. Our customers have been the driving force behind our journey, and as we celebrate this milestone, we want them to share in the joy of the occasion. These rewards are our way of saying thank you for walking this journey with us,” she said.
According to Madam Kotei Walsh, MTN’s story is deeply connected to the stories of its customers, from entrepreneurs building businesses and students pursuing their ambitions to families staying connected across distances.
“Our journey has always been about more than connecting calls. It has been about connecting people to opportunities, empowering businesses, supporting livelihoods and helping communities thrive. Through the MTN@30 Promotion, we are creating opportunities to brighten lives and reward the customers whose support has helped shape our journey over the past three decades.”
Madam Kotei Walsh explained that customers qualify through their everyday use of MTN services, including making calls, using data, purchasing bundles and conducting Mobile Money transactions.
“Every call made, every bundle purchased, every data session and every Mobile Money transaction contribute to a customer’s chance of winning. We deliberately designed this promotion to reward customers for the activities they already carry out every day because this celebration is about them.”
She encouraged customers who have not yet won to remain active and monitor their progress by dialling *530# to check their zone and points.
Representing Toyota Ghana, Eugene Adomako congratulated the winners and noted that each Toyota Land Cruiser Prado comes with a five-year warranty. He added that MTN Ghana will also cover the servicing of the vehicles for one year.
An excited Moses Akowuah, one of the winners described the prize as a pleasant surprise and expressed appreciation to MTN Ghana for recognising customers through the anniversary celebration.

The MTN@30 Promotion forms part of a broader programme of activities commemorating MTN Ghana’s 30-year presence in the country. As the promotion continues through August, thousands more customers are expected to receive rewards, reinforcing MTN’s appreciation for the people whose loyalty, trust and support have powered three decades of progress.
