Payoneer has opened a new office hub in Gurugram as the financial technology company expands its engineering and artificial intelligence capabilities while strengthening its cross-border payments platform.
The new facility, which officially opened on 13 July 2026, will bring together teams spanning engineering, product development, data, artificial intelligence, compliance technology, workforce management, commercial and operational functions, according to a company statement.
Located in Sector 42, the Gurugram hub is expected to play a key role in developing Payoneer’s products and supporting its global business operations. The company said the site will help build platform capabilities for enterprise marketplace customers while enhancing cross-border payment services for businesses in India and international markets.
Payoneer said the investment reflects India’s growing strategic importance to its long-term growth and technology roadmap.
”Our work in India is central to how we’re building Payoneer’s future,” said Oren Ryngler, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Payoneer.
”As we work towards becoming an AI-native company, the work happening in Gurugram will directly shape our global platform,” he added.
The company said the new hub will contribute to advancing its artificial intelligence initiatives while supporting innovation across its global payments infrastructure.
Gaurav Gupta, Senior Vice-President and Platform Site Leader for India at Payoneer, described India as both an important growth market and a strategic technology base for the company’s worldwide operations.
”India is both a critical growth market and where we’re building core platform capabilities that serve our customers globally,” Gupta said.
Payoneer has continued to deepen its presence in India in recent years. The company holds an in-principle authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Payment Aggregator, a move that supports its ambitions in the country’s digital payments ecosystem.
The company also highlighted its acquisition of Skuad, which now operates as Payoneer Workforce Management, as part of its broader expansion strategy in India.
The opening of the Gurugram hub underscores Payoneer’s focus on leveraging India’s technology talent to accelerate product innovation, artificial intelligence development and global payment solutions for businesses operating across borders.
