Robo.ai Incorporated has appointed former Interpol President HE Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi as chairman of its subsidiary, Neurovia AI, with immediate effect, the company announced in a press release.
Al-Raisi, who led Interpol from 2021 to 2025, becomes chairman as the artificial intelligence company seeks to strengthen its governance, compliance and international expansion. Robo.ai said he was the first person from the Middle East to serve as president of the international policing organisation.
The company said Al-Raisi brings more than 40 years of experience in digital security governance, national-level data compliance and cross-border digital risk management.
In his new role, Al-Raisi will chair Neurovia AI’s board, providing strategic direction on governance, compliance and corporate strategy. He will also support engagement with government and enterprise customers while helping oversee the subsidiary’s international growth plans.
”Data infrastructure is the cornerstone of the artificial intelligence era, and building this foundation requires high standards and responsible security governance,” Al-Raisi said.
”I look forward to working with the Board and the management team to establish a robust and compliant data security framework and to support the sound development of the region’s AI industry,” he added.
Neurovia AI specialises in artificial intelligence-powered visual data processing through its NeuroStream platform. Its technology is designed for applications including autonomous driving, smart cities and intelligent manufacturing.
The subsidiary forms part of Robo.ai, a technology company focused on developing an AI machine economy platform.
The appointment comes as the company continues to expand its AI infrastructure and governance capabilities amid growing demand for secure and compliant artificial intelligence solutions.
