MTN Ghana has announced a four-hour disruption to all its services, including Mobile Money (MoMo), as the telecommunications company undertakes a planned systems upgrade.
The disruption is scheduled to take place from 12:00 am to 4:00 am on Thursday, 13 August 2026, according to a communiqué issued by the company.
MTN Ghana said the upgrade forms part of efforts to enhance service delivery.
“We will be undertaking a planned systems upgrade to enhance service delivery,” the company said in the notice.
It advised customers to take note of the scheduled downtime, which will affect all services during the four-hour period.
The company apologised for any inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause and thanked customers for their understanding.
The upgrade is expected to restore normal service operations after 4:00 am on Thursday.
