Huawei has unveiled a new range of flagship devices across smartwatches, tablets, smartphones and wireless earbuds, with health monitoring and AI-powered features featuring prominently in the company’s latest product showcase.
The new portfolio includes the Watch GT 7 Series, Watch D3, Watch 6 Series, MatePad Pro 12, nova 16s smartphone and FreeBuds Neo. The company placed particular emphasis on health-related functions across its latest wearable devices.
The Watch GT 7 Series was presented as a sports-focused smartwatch, featuring wrist movement detection and a G-force monitor, alongside health functions designed to assess a wearer’s readiness for physical activity.
The smartwatch also supports mapping and route management for activities including cycling and skiing. It comes in 46mm and 41mm options, with eight colour choices, and features a nano-tech ceramic bezel and titanium frame.
Huawei’s Watch D3 takes the health focus further with an inflatable airbag cuff technology designed to monitor blood pressure. The device has received European CE-MDR medical certification and weighs 40 grams, with a thickness of 11.3mm.
The company said the design is intended to encourage users to wear the device regularly, allowing for greater health monitoring.
The Watch 6 Series also features health-related activity advice and analysis, while offering functions including calls, payments and navigation without being tethered to a smartphone.
Beyond its wearable range, Huawei introduced the MatePad Pro 12-inch tablet, which is designed to support productivity and creativity. The 4.7mm-thick, 454-gram tablet features a flexible OLED display and uses AI for text-to-speech conversion and handwriting recognition.
Huawei also gave its nova 16s smartphone its global debut. The device is powered by a Kirin 8020 chipset and runs Harmony OS 6.1. It features a 50MP front camera and a 200MP main camera, with Huawei highlighting its portrait photography capabilities.
The company also unveiled the FreeBuds Neo wireless earbuds, which offer noise cancellation of up to 30dB. Huawei said the earbuds support high-resolution lossless and spatial audio, with their driver designed to improve sound richness and detail.
The Watch GT 7 Series is available in the UK from today, priced at £279.99, while the Pro edition is priced at £379.99.
The Watch D3 will go on sale in the UK on 23 September for £399.99, with Huawei also announcing promotional offers involving services from healthcare provider Bupa.
The Watch 6 Series will also launch on 23 September, priced at £399.99 for the basic version and £599.99 for the Pro edition. The FreeBuds Neo will be available on the same date for £119.99.
Huawei is yet to confirm pricing and availability details for the MatePad Pro 12 and nova 16s.
