Hyundai Motor India will increase prices across its vehicle range by up to 1% from September 2026, citing rising input and commodity costs as well as continued geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties.
The company announced the planned adjustment in a communiqué, saying the price revision was necessary in response to increasing costs associated with its operations and production.
The increase will apply across Hyundai Motor India’s vehicle lineup, although the company did not provide details on the revised prices of individual models.
Hyundai said the decision was driven primarily by higher input and commodity costs, which have continued to put pressure on the automotive industry.
The automaker also pointed to ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainties as factors influencing the decision.
The price adjustment comes as vehicle manufacturers continue to face cost pressures across supply chains, with fluctuations in commodity prices and broader economic conditions affecting production expenses.
Hyundai Motor India is expected to announce model-specific price changes as the September implementation date approaches.
