LG Electronics has expanded its home appliance portfolio in Ghana with new refrigerators, washing machines and cooking appliances aimed at improving food preservation, household convenience and energy efficiency.
The new range includes French Door Refrigerators, Bottom Freezer Refrigerators, Top Freezer Refrigerators, Chest Freezers, a Twin Tub Washing Machine and the NeoChef Microwave Oven.
LG said the products were designed to respond to the evolving needs of Ghanaian households and businesses by combining convenience, durability, energy efficiency and practical everyday features.
“At LG, our goal is not simply to introduce new products but to create solutions that genuinely improve everyday life,” said Mr Hari Elluru, LG Representative at Giant Tek Limited, Ghana.
He said the new portfolio reflects LG’s focus on practical and accessible innovation, particularly in food preservation, laundry and meal preparation.
Expanded refrigeration range
The refrigeration lineup includes the French Door Refrigerator models GCFB41FPLAM and GCFB50FPLAM, which offer spacious storage and features aimed at improving food organisation and freshness preservation.
The Bottom Freezer Refrigerator, model GCFB276PQCF, is designed to provide easier access to fresh food while optimising frozen-food storage.
LG’s Top Freezer Refrigerator, model GCFB195PQCF, targets households seeking reliable cooling performance and value.
The company has also introduced a range of Chest Freezers in different sizes for households, retailers, restaurants and entrepreneurs requiring additional freezing and storage capacity.
New washing machine
The new LG Twin Tub Washing Machine, model P800R3AGNC, has been added to the portfolio to provide a practical laundry solution for households.
LG said the machine combines durability and ease of use with effective cleaning performance, helping consumers manage everyday laundry tasks more conveniently.
NeoChef targets convenient meal preparation
LG has also introduced the NeoChef Microwave Oven, model MH8265CIS, to support faster and more convenient meal preparation.
The microwave features precise cooking performance and intuitive operation, with LG saying it is designed to deliver consistent cooking results across a variety of meals.
LG reaffirms commitment to Ghanaian market
Mr Lerry Wang, Regional General Manager at Giant Tek Limited, said the launch reinforces LG’s commitment to the Ghanaian market and its focus on developing technologies tailored to consumer needs.
“Consumer expectations are constantly changing, and innovation remains at the heart of how we respond,” Wang said.
He added that LG would continue introducing technologies intended to meet current consumer needs while supporting greater convenience and smarter living.
The new home appliance lineup is available through authorised LG distributors and retail partners across Ghana.
