MTN Ghana has launched a month-long Customer Service Month celebration to reward customers, strengthen engagement and use their feedback to improve service delivery as the telecommunications company marks 30 years of operations.
Under the theme, “Celebrating You: 30 Years of Progress, Powered by You,” the programme will feature interactive activities across MTN Ghana’s service centres, digital platforms and social media, bringing customers, employees and communities together.
The activities include Customer Fora, community outreach, a Self-Service Webinar, trivia on the MyMTN App and social media, Lucky Seat Challenges and the Wheel of Surprises. The initiatives are intended to improve access to customer support, provide useful information and create more opportunities for customers to share their experiences.
Jemima Kotei Walsh, Chief Customer Experience Officer of MTN Ghana, said the celebration recognised the trust, loyalty and feedback that had contributed to the company’s progress over the past three decades.

“This month is about celebrating the people who have powered our progress—our customers. For 30 years, their trust, loyalty and honest feedback have challenged us to keep improving,” she said.
She added that the initiative was an opportunity for the company to express appreciation to customers while making every interaction simpler, more seamless and more meaningful.
Walsh also stressed that delivering quality customer experiences was a shared responsibility among employees, urging them to turn customer feedback into action and ensure that every point of contact reflected the company’s appreciation for its customers.
A key highlight of the celebration is “MoMo Made My Business,” which will recognise three small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) merchants for their stories of how MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) has supported business growth, expanded customer reach and created opportunities.
The three winners will be announced during the month and rewarded for their entrepreneurial achievements.
MTN Ghana said the celebration would also provide practical insights to improve its products, services and customer support by bringing employees and customers closer together.
The company described Customer Service Month as more than a calendar event, reaffirming its commitment to putting customers first, learning from every interaction and responding to their evolving needs as it celebrates 30 years of connection and progress.
