Senior Manager for Large Enterprise at MTN Ghana, Godwin Adzimah, has called on marketing and digital business leaders to embrace technology-driven transformation while maintaining meaningful human connections in an increasingly digital world.
Delivering the closing remarks at the Digital Transformation Conference 2026 in Accra, Mr Adzimah said the growing demand for technology and digital adoption required organisations to rethink how they deliver experiences, respond to change, and create value through data.
According to him, the challenge facing businesses goes beyond simply adopting digital tools and technologies.
“For leaders in marketing and digital business, we are seeing continuous growth in the demand for technology and its adoption. The challenge before us is not only to adopt these tools, but to reimagine how we deliver experiences, how we respond to change, and how we use data to create value,” he stated.
He emphasised the need for organisations to build agility while strengthening human engagement despite the rapid pace of digitalisation.
Mr Adzimah noted that discussions throughout the conference had provided practical insights into how innovation could drive growth, relevance and competitive advantage across industries.
He said participants had explored emerging trends and exchanged ideas on areas including artificial intelligence, automation, customer personalisation, digital ecosystems and data-driven decision-making.
According to him, a consistent lesson from the conference was that successful transformation depended on aligning strategy, technology and people.
“Transformation succeeds when strategy, technology and people move together,” he said.
Mr Adzimah further urged marketing and digital leaders to recognise their role in shaping the future of business and innovation.
He said institutions such as MTN Ghana must not only provide digital solutions but also build partnerships that support sustainable transformation across organisations and industries.
He encouraged participants to view the conference as the beginning of continued collaboration and knowledge sharing rather than the end of a discussion.
“Let this conference not be an end, but a platform for continuous collaboration, knowledge sharing and bold execution across our organisations and industries,” he added.
Mr Adzimah also called on participants to leave the conference with renewed vision, practical ideas, stronger professional networks and the courage to lead meaningful transformation within their institutions.
He expressed appreciation to speakers, panellists, partners, organisers, and participants for their contributions and commitment towards advancing digital innovation.
