Nokia has partnered with Microsoft to develop an agentic, unified data foundation aimed at helping telecoms providers accelerate AI-driven network operations.
The offering will combine Nokia Data Suite’s telecommunications products with Microsoft Fabric’s unified analytics, governance and artificial intelligence capabilities to support intelligent, agent-based solutions across the network stack.
According to Nokia and Microsoft, the platform will enable operators to access high-quality and trusted data in minutes rather than weeks, simplifying complex data integration and reducing the time required to generate insights.
Nokia said its telco products provide industry-specific semantic modelling designed to improve transparency, explainability and trust in AI-driven decisions.
Microsoft Fabric, meanwhile, provides a unified data platform built around OneLake storage, analytics tools and AI-native applications including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Foundry and Power BI.
The companies said combining their respective capabilities would allow operators to move from fragmented data environments towards a more autonomous and scalable model.
The offering is designed to support multi-vendor and cross-domain telecommunications environments, including hybrid and cloud infrastructures as well as on-premise deployments.
Nokia and Microsoft said the flexibility of the platform would also enable operators to address regulatory requirements while advancing their AI strategies globally.
Silvia Candiani, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Telco and Media at Microsoft, said operators were ready to move AI beyond experimentation and into everyday network operations.
She said the partnership would provide “a faster path to turn complex network data into actionable intelligence”.
Vivek Jaiswal, Senior Vice President, Autonomous Networks at Nokia, said the companies were bringing “the right data, at the right time, for the right reason” to telecoms operators worldwide.
