Sam George presents laptops to Parliament to support digital operations

Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has presented 10 laptop computers to Parliament as part of efforts to strengthen digital operations within the legislative arm of government.

‎‎The presentation was made at the Ministry’s Conference Room in Accra.

‎‎Speaking during the brief ceremony, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing digital transformation across public institutions and enhancing the use of technology in governance and service delivery.

‎‎Parliamentary officials who received the laptops expressed their appreciation to the Minister and the Ministry for the gesture. They assured him that the equipment would be put to effective use to support parliamentary work and improve operational efficiency.

‎‎The donation forms part of the Ministry’s broader initiative to bridge the digital divide within public sector institutions by providing technological resources and promoting digital inclusion.

‎The Ministry for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations continues to implement programmes aimed at accelerating Ghana’s digital transformation agenda and ensuring that public institutions are equipped with the tools needed to operate effectively in an increasingly digital environment.
