Ishmael Yamson & Associates is set to convene the twelfth edition of its flagship Business Roundtable on May 28, 2026, at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, in what promises to be one of the most significant corporate and policy dialogue events on the continent.

This year’s edition marks a major shift in scope, expanding beyond Ghana’s domestic policy discussions to address the broader strategic direction and economic relevance of African businesses. Held under the theme “Unlocking the Next Quarter Century”, the event is expected to attract up to 1,000 in-person delegates and more than 15,000 virtual participants from across Africa.

The roundtable aims to foster high-level engagement between governments, private sector leaders, and development stakeholders, with a focus on shaping Africa’s long-term competitiveness. Discussions will revolve around five key strategic pillars: digital infrastructure, trade and regional integration, energy and industrial growth, leadership and governance, and societal development, particularly the role of youth in driving Africa’s global relevance.

A central highlight of the event will be its distinguished lineup of speakers, including Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who will deliver a keynote address on leadership and governance in Africa’s future. Other notable speakers include John Jinapor, Sam Jonah, Ralph Mupita, and PLO Lumumba.

The event will also provide extensive networking opportunities for policymakers, investors, and corporate executives, with organisers aiming to generate actionable insights that will accelerate Africa’s transformation into a global economic powerhouse by 2050.

Registration for the Business Roundtable 2026 is currently open, with standard participation set at GHS3,000 (or $300), while the VIP Leadership Circle package is priced at GHS10,000 (or $1,000).

Interested participants, including institutions, professionals, and emerging leaders, are encouraged to register early and secure their place at what is expected to be a landmark gathering for Africa’s business and policy community.
